Description
Job DescriptionThis is a superb opening for a mid-level tax associate (3-4 years PQE) to join this US law firm's London office as the number 2 to the existing tax partner.
This gives you the opportunity both to work closely with a senior tax expert and to gain exposure and responsibility for a broad range of tax work.
The workload will have a particular emphasis on corporate taxation and VAT, taxation of investment funds, global mobility, and the establishment of incentive arrangements.
Much of it emanates from corporate and business acquisitions, disposals, mergers and reconstructions.However, it is a varied diet which will also include the tax aspects of supply chain management and employee remuneration.
Specific experience of all this is NOT required but you should have a good training at a major UK or a US firm, a sound broad-based corporate tax background and have strong academics.
The opportunities long term are excellent and in the short term the compensation will be first rate.
