Highways Operatives
Industry: Civil Engineering
Location: Isle ofWight
Hours: 40 hours per week, 7.30am -4.30pm
Days: Monday - Friday
Duration: Start April,ongoing temporary (potentially permanent for the rightcandidate)
Duties:
Groundwork and civil engineering duties including:drainage, concreting, kerbing/bricklaying and tarmacking.
Operation of machinery and handtools.
Manual handlingand driving.
Adherence totechnical specifications, quality and health and safetystandards.
Experience:
Must have good level of previous groundworkexperience, (civil engineering preferred) and a full driver'slicence, (7.5 tonne (C1)driving licence preferred).
Must be reliable and physicallyfit, due to the nature of the duties and work well to instructionand as part of a team.
Higher pay rates may be available to candidates whohold NRSWA, EXCAVATOR, DUMPER tickets.
Salary: £ £12.48(dependent upon experience/certifications) per hour worked PAYE,overtime paid at1.5
