    Year 2 Class Teacher (Part-time)


    Toxteth, Liverpool£300 - £420 per weekJune 2024 (maternity cover)A great opportunity for an experienced teacher to work in a Year 2 class, on a part-time basis in this exciting role.

    The RoleThis is a position teaching a Year 2 cohort of 25 children, starting after the May half-term, and will be Mon-Fri, 08:30am-12pm.

    There are a small group of low-level SEND children within the class, but behaviour across the class, and school, is outstanding.

    The SchoolThis is a small, one-form entry school in the Toxteth area of Liverpool.

    The school has worked hard over the years to tackle behaviour, implementing a strong, whole-school behaviour management policy, which has had a positive impact from EYFS-KS2.

    Prior to COVID-19, they were inspected by OFSTED and were graded as 'Good' with outstanding areas.

    RequirementsTo be considered for this teacher position, you will:

    Hold QTS status in the UKHave experience teaching in KS1Have some experience of supporting or leading phonics screening testsHave experience working in mainstream British Schools and be able to demonstrate teaching excellenceVision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.

    All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
