You will possess training and experience in Nuclear Medicine to join our service.

The Nuclear Medicine Department, part of the Radiation Services group at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, provides a wide range of diagnostic imaging and in-vitro investigations together with molecular radiotherapies.

The Department operates a regional radiopharmacy service under a MHRA Manufacturers (Specials) Licence. Our new imaging suite for SPECT/CT will support the introduction of dosimetry for our molecular radiotherapies.


In addition to the clinical service at the Cancer Centre, we provide scientific, technical and radiation protection advice and support to nuclear medicine services at nine NHS Trusts throughout North West London and the Home Counties.

Team Lead for the diagnostic nuclear medicine service.

To participate in all aspects of the clinical nuclear medicine service.

Work closely with the lead clinical scientist to deliver molecular radiotherapies.

Support the department management team to deliver the nuclear medicine service and meet KPI's and objectives.

Provide leadership, support and guidance to junior members of the team.

Participate in the recruitment, selection and retention of staff.

Promote high standards of patient care and treatment delivery.

Manage and co-ordinate the daily clinical workload allocating resources and reallocating them as priorities change.
