Description
To provide pro-active and reactive scheduling and allocation of engineering resource to customers by liaising with relevant departments and dealing with external and internal customer queries.
Ensuring that the correct engineering resource is deployed to achieve first time fixes for customers, through both internal engineers and subcontractors.
Full accountability for delivering exceptional engineer service response by ensuring scheduling to achieve agreed KPIs. Responsible for providing excellent standards of response.- Plan/co-ordinate/allocate engineering resource for all jobs, (planned preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance and installations) ensuring contractual response times and target dates are met.
- Ensure job allocations match engineers skillsets and experience.
- Ensure efficient planning of workload to minimise travel time and maximise productivity.
- Manage resource planning tool / system. Ensuring all information is up to date and accurate.
- Co-ordinate with the Supply Chain department to ensure materials for jobs are available ahead of site works commencing.
- Manage travel and accommodation requirements, including engineer vehicle maintenance.
- Escalate issues with specific jobs, clients or engineers to relevant department managers.
- Assist with call handling and logging for telephone support (CRM).
- Provide work specific information and documentation to engineers.
- Collate and distribute site generated documentation to relevant department manager.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the post holder may be required to perform other duties resulting from organisational change, restructuring or temporary re-assignment of work.
Experience & Knowledge
- Working within a service environment.
- Customer facing role providing excellent customer experience.
- Scheduling and resource allocation of engineers (or similar)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAGE 200, SAP, Oracle)
Desirable
- Experience with Infor ERP system.
- A good understanding of the aquaculture industry.

- Self motivated able to manage own workload and prioritise tasks effectively.

- Calm approach and work effectively under pressure within a busy and diverse environment.

Salary:
£26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
