We are recruiting for an organised and experienced ESTIMATOR to work in our Torrance based Bodyshop.

You will be joining a long-established family business who are one of the leading vehicle repairers in the UK's vehicle industry.

Hours
Part time/Full time hours negotiable

About the role

Carrying out estimates accurately, in detail acceptable to the Manager and sending these to customers in a timely manner.
Ensuring you clearly identify and understand the customer's needs and desires.
Informing customers of additional repairs needed over and above those estimated for, including approximate costs and revised completion.
Liaising with insurance companies third parties to access necessary claim information.
Carrying out all estimate followups.
Handing over completed vehicles ensuring customer satisfaction with work carried out.
Assisting the Workshop Controller to achieve recorded completion dates or advise Bodyshop Administration of issues affecting completion date.

Day-to-day duties & responsibilities

Supply estimates of any repairs needed and communicating them efficiently to the customer.
Talking to insurers to gain authorisation for repairs.
Keeping the customer informed at every stage of the job, advising them of any extra work/payments that may be required.
Liaising successfully with staff and engineers.

Essential Skills

Ability to listen and accurately relay information.
Ability to work well under pressure & to tight deadlines.
Strong organisational & multitasking skills.
Confident & professional communication skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Audatex Certification.
EMACS Bodyshop Management System would be advantageous.

A full current driving licence would be advantageous.

£22,000.00-£36,400.00 per year
