Our client is seeking to hire a finance professional with experience of Sun Systems.

They are seeking an enthusiastic and vibrant person to join the Finance team, supporting the Senior Systems Accountant with daily duties and project work and also helpingthe Junior Systems Accountant with the day to day database admin.


This is an initial 6-month contract position.

Daily duties would include;

Systems administration work on SUN, Q&A & Other systems

  • Assisting in the consolidation process
  • Creating and improving current Q&A templates/worksheets
  • Management of the ledgers, chart of accounts and system mechanics
  • Assisting in the quarter end close process
  • Management of PowerBI models and updates from SUN
  • Assisting with front line support for the Finance team
  • Database admin for all systems
  • Automating current manual processes
  • Assisting in the budgeting and reforecasting process

Project Work

  • Assisting in the selection of an independent consultant
  • Working with the consultant on the ERP systems selection process
  • Assisting in the presentations/meetings for any potential new systems vendor
  • Assisting with the board papers and presenting the findings to the board
  • Initial project discovery work for the new system
  • Initial SUN audit for preparation of the new system build out

Your background
Sound understanding of Sun Systems

Q&A 11.3 proficient preferred

Power BI and or / RPA experience preferred
