Description
Our client is seeking a motivated Frameworks and Commercial Manager to join their Development team. You'll provide technical and commercial leadership and support on procurement, frameworks, supply chain management, and contracts.
This is a leading organisation within it's industry in the London' area. They have an ambitious programme and their development pipeline includes a range of exciting projects. The organisation is commercially minded whilst keeping social purpose at the heartof everything they do.

Role responsibilities
They create their own frameworks of contractors and professional consultants, who they work with to deliver their development projects.

You'll be responsible for managing these frameworks and other approved supplier lists, to help achieve the best outcomes from suppliers on both cost and quality.

This will include maintaining and developing professional relationships with existing and new consultantsand contractors.

You'll also lead on the procurement of any new and replacement frameworks, with the help of their corporate Procurement Team.

Their development project managers are responsible for running selection processes and contracting with consultants and contractors for their projects. You'll support them in doing so, guiding and challenging your colleagues to achieve compliance and best practice.

You'll monitor and oversee all tendering and contract activities across the Development department, develop intelligence on suppliers' capabilities and performance, improve their suite of standard template documents and procedures, deliver training and guidance,and help colleagues with day-to-day problem solving.

This role requires both strategic thinking and attention to detail, and both creativity and discipline. You'll have to balance delivery of long-range projects and continual improvement initiatives with day-to-day demands.
You will need to be a clear and confident communicator to build great relationships and influence decision-makers. You'll be their trusted advisor, so excellent technical and commercial knowledge will
