    This fantasticprimary school is searching for an outstanding KS2 teacher who canstart in September 2024.

    This is a significantposition within the school and the successful applicant will havestrong communication and analytical abilities as well as theability to teach a funloving Year 3 class. Only exceptionalexperienced KS2 teachers will be interviewed for this fulltimeposition.

    The children are hardworking caringinquisitive and imaginative and the staff here aspire to developwellrounded confident pupils through a supportive pastoralenvironment as a result we are seeking a primary teacher who knowshow to drive attainment and create engaginglessons.

    Responsibilitiesof a KS2 teacher:

    • As aKS2 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of thechildren promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
    • Teaching the Key stage 2curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on eachindividual childs learning targets encouraging their strengths andimproving their weaknesses
    • Further developingmaths ability and introducing fractions statistics andgeometry
    • Keeping track of childrens progressand occasionally reporting back toparents

    Requirements

    • Qualifiedteacher status (QTS)
    • Experience teachingprimary school students ideally in KS2
    • A strongunderstanding of the National Curriculum and assessmentframeworks
    • Excellent communication andorganisational skills and the ability to work effectively in ateam
    • A passion for teaching and learning with acommitment to ongoing professionaldevelopment
    • Good behaviour management skillswith a focus on creating a positive and inclusive learningenvironment
    • Enhanced DBS check and professionalreferences
