Commercial Officer

Location:

Salary:
Up to £34,000 Depending on experience

What you'll be doing:

Assist in negotiation of proposals with potential customers and ensuring that this results in acceptable business agreements and contracts
Provide commercial support and contract administration to a project or business stream
Supporting the Senior Commercial Manager by taking responsibility for the preparation of quotations and proposals
Providing RBA (Request of Bid Approval), before they go out to the customer
Support to the Lifecycle Management (LCM) process including compilation, substantiation and presentation of Bid at RBA ensuring the necessary approvals are obtained within governance of the operational framework Opportunity to work to both UK contracts and Export
Supporting the drafting and negotiating contractual agreements, including acceptable terms and conditions of contract and associated price and payment provisions

Your skills and experiences:

Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
Good professional knowledge of Commercial principles, techniques and practices
Works on own initiative with responsibility for delivery with high levels of organisation, personal motivation and drive
Has developed a basic level of business acumen in terms of wider business and how Commercial roles fit within the organisation
