Assistant Treasury Manager (Reporting & Analytics)
Hybrid - Leeds - £35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus, Healthcare and further Benefits
Gresham Hunt are proud to be representing this market leading, award winning, global Banking Group as they look to expand their Treasury Reporting and Analytics Team.
The Role
The Treasury Reporting and Analytics team is responsible for the provision of financial risk modelling, reporting and analysis to a wide variety of internal and external partners.
Within this role, you will be working closely with broader Treasury team in delivering data and reporting to a broad range of internal and external partners.
There will be a number of technical aspects of the role, this will all be taught, however you willhave to have a genuine interest in treasury operations and interest rate risk management.
As an Assistant Treasury Manager (Reporting & Analytics) you will be:
- Supporting the month end interest rate risk model update and forecasting process
- Assisting with the implementation of interest rate risk model change
- Providing technical support to treasury management system users to investigate, resolve and/or escalate processing issues
- Maintaining collaborative relationships with Risk, IT and Finance partners to support the delivery of quality and timely risk data and reporting
As an Assistant Treasury Manager (Reporting & Analytics) you will have:
- An analytical mindset and be someone who consistently achieves results even under tough circumstances
- The ability to collaborate with colleagues within the team and with key stakeholders
- Experience in querying and analysing large datasets and be able to problem solve and communicate complex outputs in a simple way
What else could help?
- A broad understanding of Treasury related financial risks as well as an understanding of a Bank's balance sheet and income streams
- A good understanding of Excel functionality and preferably some experience of using SQL code to write adhoc queries for analysis, testing and report development
- Experience of interest rate risk modelling and reporting would be ideal but isn't essential as technical training will be provided
