Main duties of the job
The role will involve working with a complex clinical case load, it willpresent exciting opportunities to develop clinical and leadership skillsets.The role will be instrumental in working with the orthotic team, consisting ofclinicians, technicians and wider NHS MDT to advance and improve the deliveryof the service.
There are a wide variety of MDTs and extended practice clinics including,but not limited to:
In and out-patient clinics for neurologicalconditions
Paediatrics
Scoliosis bracing
Diabetic foot
Foot and ankle
Theatre casts and removal
Key Responsibilities:
Some of the key responsibilities The role holder will haveresponsibility for:
Assisting in the management of the orthotic team
Ensure the delivery of high-quality care for allpatients and the smooth running of the service
Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams(MDTs) across Queen Marys and St Georges Hospitals
Inputting and leading on initiatives within thecentre service development plan
Deputising for the clinical lead when required
This role will provide an opportunity for an ambitious clinician to stepinto a position that will challenge them and provide opportunities to developclinically across a range of practice areas. The role will be instrumental inhelping to develop and implement service improvements for the betterment ofpatients in Roehampton.
