Role overview
We're searching for an
Asset Assistant to join our friendly asset team at A2Dominion.

As our Asset Assistant this role is crucial in the asset team as it supports the delivery of the Asset Management Strategy.


Key responsibilities:


  • To provide monthly and adhoc performance statistics and reporting to business stakeholders on a range of key performance targets and validating outputs including, Decent Homes, SAP/Affordable warmth/energy efficiency/home energy certificates
  • Coordinate and accurately minute the Asset Management Panel governance group (AMP) including the updating of action logs and property trackers.
  • Responsible for driving progress on AMP works in progress and disposals, monitoring expenditure and deadlines
  • Actively tracking and enforcing Asset Management Panel decisions to be implemented to optimise the value of our property assets
  • Reviewing and processing purchase orders into the P2P system and investigating and resolving anomalies
  • Responsible for departmental cost control, processing management accounts and evaluating void losses for solutions to reduce expenditure
  • Updating and reporting monthly the Asset Management Teams performance records to line manager, demonstrating the value added through Asset Management Panel and the return on investment, including surplus and deficit
  • Updating data in Lifespan Housing and delivering Lifespan Housing training workshops promoting the Asset Management Strategy
  • Investigating and reporting data quality for Property Performance Tool
  • To organise meetings and to prepare minutes and action points as required
  • Responsible for promptly coordinating and arranging adhoc tasks with external consultants e.g. valuations, surveys, sitex with flexibility to take on additional tasks and providing administrative backup and assistance to the department as required.

For this role, we're looking for someone with the following:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths & English (Grades A
  • C)
  • Ability to extract reports from ICT systems and validate information as correct Highly organised and able to coordinate and service meetings and events
  • Able to take accurate and concise minutes
  • Able to quickly and accurately organise and transpose simple data between systems and spreadsheets
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
