The HRBP role has been introduced to the business to support it's future direction and growth plans, partnering with managers across the business up to Director level.


Reporting to the HR Manager, the HRBP will have a Lead role within organisational changes and key people strategies, priorities, projects and initiatives, with a focus on The design and implementation of projects and initiatives relating to: Change Management, including TUPE, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Reward, Health and Wellbeing, policies and procedures.


  • Providing operational advice and guidance in areas such as: Employee Relations; Disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, performance and capability management, HR Management information and digital transformation.
  • Lead, coordinate and implement the delivery of agreed projects and initiatives of the People Strategy.
  • Develop and review policies and procedures and provide advice on People related change management.
  • Initiate and design people change solutions that meet the future plans of the business
  • Support Heads of services and managers with structures, job design and job descriptions.
  • Collaborate with L&D in the identification of training needs.
  • Design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's pay and benefits structure, job analysis, pay benchmarking, participation in salary surveys.
  • Design, development and implementation the performance management process.
  • Provide coaching to line managers in the effective performance management and development of their people.
  • Support the design, implementation and coordination of initiatives relating to maintaining a positive employee engagement, wellbeing, ED&I.
  • Partner with relevant managers around organisation design and restructures, including TUPE.

Experience Required

  • CIPD qualified or experience evidenced
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory regulations, and best practice.
  • Communicating, negotiating, and influencing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and partners.
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing a wide range of concurrent people and change projects.
  • Demonstrable generalist and specialist experience of: Employee Relations, Reward and Recognition, Employee Relations, Change Management, ED&I, policy and process development.
  • Ability to initiate and influence a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • A proactive, positive and performance focused approach.
  • Thinks strategically, risk aware and able to resolve complex problems.
  • Talent for planning and organising.
