Job Title:
Case Note Picker / Filer / Driver
Reporting To:
Team Leader / Operation & Facilities Manager.
Purpose of Job:
To participate in the physical warehouse operation, to ensure patient files are correctly picked and filed, ensure delivery of files to the trust as and when required by the trust.
7am - 11:00pm on a rota basis, Monday - Friday
Weekend on call will be required
(6 months probationary period)
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Pull out requested patient notes from warehouse locations following the pick / instruction provided. send them back to the main hospital site (In line with the delivery deadlines, as per the Service Level Agreement.)
- Ensure all notes for return to the main hospital are bundled accurately and placed neatly in the required totes ready for dispatch.
- Deliver and/or collect files to and from the trust using the Company vehicle.
- Receive boxes of notes, empty boxes, sort notes into correct order, update the system and file notes back into appropriate section of warehouse.
- To follow the No Trace Procedure if a file request is untraceable.
- Complete daily documentation relating to the processing of files.
- Required to use the PC and Bar Code Scanners for data input.
- Be part of a shift rotation rota
- Be part of an oncall rota at weekends, between the hours of 9.00am and 11.00pm
- Working at height using MHE on a regular basis.
- Required to lift heavy boxes of records on a daily basis.
- General warehousing duties to include moving of stock and housekeeping.
- Comply with Company confidentiality agreements
- To achieve daily work targets
- Any other duties as requested by the Supervisor / Operations & Facilities Manager

- Previous experience of working within a storage/warehousing environment.
Job Types:

Part-time hours: 35 per week
Salary:
£10.91 per hour
