Our client is a leading UK driverless vehicle and mobility company expanding internationally and on a mission to find the very best people to be part of our success and join the driverless revolution that will disrupt and transform the world of transport.
They are recruiting a Test Lead for its Autonomous Vehicles R&D Team.
You will work with other team members to solve and integrate work from 3 different continents (Europe, Australia and Asia).
The team is very diverse and always looks for people with high quality and good grasping of different domains in robotics and outside robotics.

Work closely with our research, test, and robotics engineers to create simulation systems and visualization tools.
Develop functional tests for each component in the software/hardware.
Develop Regression tests for multiple scenarios either from simulation data or real life collected data, to test the integration of a new software or hardware feature.
Document, review and maintain high-standard code.
Develop relevant tests for the interfaces from the supporting system to the vehicle (e.g., visualization server) and design metrics to measure performance.
Document, review and maintain high quality test reports for live vehicle testing.
Essential Requirements:
Solid theoretical background in the Software best practices and coding standards.
Solid theoretical background in the different test architectures.
BSc degree in Computer Science, Robotics or related field.
Strong skill in modern C/C++, unit tests and software engineer best practices for different test protocols. Python is an extra but not required.
Experience developing shell/bash scripts.
1+ years of industry experience writing production-quality, performance-critical code, and maintaining large codebases is desired
Nice to have requirements:
MSc in Computer Science, Robotics or related field
Experience working with vehicle interfaces, including CAN or Ethernet network
Experience in testing autonomous systems in real-world scenarios (ideally in Autonomous Vehicles but any other filed is acceptable)
Experience working with one or more Machine learning algorithms that can create new test conditions using the limited available datasets.
