    Infrastructure Engineer

    Essex, Fife or West Lothian - This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days on site per week. Be part of and out of hours in call support rota as required

    Our client has an opportunity for an experienced SCCM Infrastructure Engineer to be responsible for the management, maintenance and upkeep of IT in 2 main locations in England and Scotland.

    You will need to be an SCCM expert and be confident in building, developing, deploying and maintaining core Data Centre technologies. Experience working in a corporate, multi-site environment would be beneficia.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Setup and manage deployments using SCCM and Active Directory.

    Support and troubleshooting for SCCM issues such as software deployments and automated builds.

    Maintain and develop existing and new build processes using task sequencing.

    Ensure adherence to best practices and integration processes.

    Develop, build, test and maintain operating systems and core applications for distribution to virtual server and desktop infrastructure.

    Ensure Data Centre and Hardware responsiveness and availability of services are maintained.

    Identify, plan, and drive maintenance tasks and upgrades in line with change management procedures.

    Evaluate technologies, including assessing how they may be developed or deployed to enhance end user service.

    Key Skills:

    Be an SCCM SME, having worked in a similar role where managing SCCM infrastructure was a key part of the role.

    Experience with server builds, images and automating patch management.

    Virtualization (VMware).

    Datacentre Server and Storage platforms.

    Ability to automate tasks and deploy applications in SCCM.

    Experience with Active Directory.

    Experience in large-scale and complex environments.
