    :

    The TikTok Tax team is building to work with other corporate functions on tax advisory, planning, structuring, and tax controversy.

    We ensure compliance with direct (corporate income tax) and indirect tax (sales and use tax and property tax) and solve tax related issues.


    Position Summary:


    TikTok is seeking an enthusiastic International Tax Business Partner to join the tax team in the United States, United Kingdom and Singapore to support its rapid business growth globally.

    The ideal candidate has experience in providing tax solutions for TMT products, . Digital services, digital products, e-commerce, etc, and possesses strong technical skills, in order to work seamlessly together with colleagues in multiple departments (. Legal, Finance) to support our business teams to develop comprehensive and practical tax solutions in multiple tax jurisdictions globally.


    Responsibilities:

    • Tax Assessment and Solutions: Support the business team in conducting tax assessments for new products, developing efficient and compliant tax solutions in designated jurisdictions. Ensure tax consistency among different jurisdictions for the same product at the group level.
    • Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate closely with regional/country tax managers to share business updates and develop specific tax solutions in collaboration with teams
    • Review and Monitoring:
    Periodically review the business model and tax solutions for existing products within the group.

    Monitor tax risks and proactively address any identified issues.- Legislation Monitoring and Training: Stay informed about changes in tax legislation, identify potential tax impacts, and provide advance tax solutions to ensure compliance.

    Conduct tax training or updates for related business teams.- Daily Tax Inquiries: Respond to daily tax inquiries from business teams, clients, and business partners.



    • Strong experience in tax practice, with international tax experience
    • International tax experience in crossborder transactions. Experience in indirect taxes (VAT/GST/SUT) of the digital economy and ecommerce is a significant advantage
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey tax technical issues to nontax professionals
    • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
