    Principal Teacher Salary Scale Point 1 (£52, per annum)

    Days of work:
    - Monday - Friday
    - To start 12th August

    Windygoul Primary School is a lively and inclusive school community where we emphasize growth and development for all. Woodside is an expanding ASN provision dedicated to supporting students with Autism and Communication Needs. We are seeking a Principal Teacher to join our leadership team and contribute to the development of Woodside. The PT will also have a teaching role within Woodside, focusing on promoting inclusion and student voice throughout the school.

    Job Details

    According to school policies and Council guidelines, Principal Teachers are responsible for tasks assigned by the Head Teacher. These tasks should consider the overall workload of teachers and include:

    • Curricular development and quality assurance.
    • Contributing to school policy development regarding student behavior management.
    • Guiding and managing colleagues, including assessing their CPD needs and performance.
    • Providing advice and support to colleagues.
    • Leading pastoral care initiatives within the school.
    • Assisting in the management and development of pastoral care staff.
    • Implementing school-wide policies related to guidance, pastoral care, assessment, and student well-being.
    • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and specialized agencies as needed.
    • Working closely with class teachers to exchange best practices and advance Improvement Plan priorities.
    • Participating in school administration tasks.
    • Contributing to aspects of the School Improvement Plan.
