We are looking for a highly methodical and diligent Warranty Administrator to join the team with the option to based from a number of our UK sites. Responsible for the validation and accurate processing of claim data. Reporting to the Warranty Manager you will be responsible for processing warranty claims, ensuring that they fit with the agreed warranty terms and conditions as set out by the company, as well as supporting with general administrative duties.

Your dream role:


  • Responsible for processing ADL warranty claims in an accurate and timely manner, including those that do not meet ADL's business rules.
  • Processing retail work in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Liaising directly with Alexander Dennis service centres and field service engineers in order to clarify or add missing information to warranty claims and retail work.
  • Manage and process third party claims and supplier invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide data to management to assist with the continuous improvement of product quality and reliability.
  • Ensure that any early trends are brought to the attention of management
  • Assist with the development and implementation of ADL's current and future warranty systems
  • Assist with general administration duties.
  • Maintain Health & Safety standards

What you will bring:


  • To be successful, you will have demonstrable experience in a similar administrative role in a relatively complex and or technical environment.
  • You will preferably have a postsecondary education within the Quality or Engineering field, but experience in this field or a similar environment will be considered.
  • Work experience in warranty or manufacturing is preferred
  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with an ability to build relationships and credibility with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
  • Meticulous by nature, you will be comfortable working with numbers and large datasets in time critical situations to deadlines.
  • You will be a proven selfstarter with ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously independently and as part of a team.
  • It is essential that you are IT literate, being comfortable with Microsoft packages (in particular Excel and ideally to intermediate level). Furthermore, you will be capable of learning new software with ease such as ERP or databases.
  • Must be able to travel between ADL sites as and when required.
  • Experience in the roll out and implementation of IT projects would be highly desirable.
