Marketing Executive

This is a hybrid role based in our Manchester office with flexibility for homeworking, so you must live within a commutable distance.


Despite being a new company, our team has a wealth of knowledge, with over 80 years of combined experience and an outstanding reputation in the sports travel industry.


No two days are the same in this exciting new role, but on a typical day you will

  • Attend a variety of sport events and player appearances to create engaging content
  • Research imagery, music and other stock video to support original content
  • Collaborate with Partnerships Team to understand opportunities to leverage partnership rights across content and social media touchpoints, ensuring relevant approval processes are followed
  • As required, support with adhoc content creation and wider marketing activity for other divisions within Destination Sport Group

To be successful in this role we are looking for motivated individuals who have

  • A minimum 2 years content creation and social media experience for a brand, agency or sports organisation
  • Significant experience in shooting and editing video using professional video equipment and editing software
  • An understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn with experience in managing such platforms for a brand or sports organisation
  • Knowledge of creative software including Photoshop and Davinci Resolve
  • Confidence in clientfacing tasks and capable of running your own productions from concept to release
  • Ability to interpret and expand on briefs, offering creative input and original ideas
  • Understanding of content and digital media trends/strategies including how this contributes to a wider B2C marketing strategy
  • An understanding of the role of data and insight within content and social media
  • An understanding of sports business and/or travel industry
  • Strong organisational skills including Microsoft Office product suite
  • Willingness to embark on regular domestic and international travel for attend events and capture content
