Social & Content Executive

This is a hybrid role based in our Manchester office with flexibility for homeworking, so you must live within a commutable distance.


Despite being a new company, our team has a wealth of knowledge, with over 80 years of combined experience and an outstanding reputation in the sports travel industry.


No two days are the same in this exciting new role, but on a typical day you will

  • Collaborate with Performance Marketing Team to understand priority keywords, utilising these in written content (including blogs and product descriptions) to support with the SEO strategy
  • Collaborate with Partnerships Team to understand opportunities to leverage partnerships across content and social media touchpoints, ensuring relevant approval processes are followed
  • As required, support with adhoc marketing activity for other divisions within Destination Sport Group

To be successful in this role we are looking for motivated individuals who have

  • A minimum of two years of copywriting and social media management experience for a brand, agency or sports organisation
  • An understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn with experience in managing such platforms and creating highly engaging content
  • An understanding of content trends/strategies, including how this contributes to a wider B2C marketing strategy
  • Excellent writing skills with a strong eye for detail
  • The ability to demonstrate creativity and to develop and pitch ideas
  • An understanding of the role of data and insight within content and social media
  • Strong organisational skills, including Microsoft Office product suite
  • Willingness to embark on occasional domestic and international travel for work purposes
