Destination Sport Experiences - Sportive Breaks

This is a hybrid role based in our Manchester office with flexibility for homeworking, so you must live within a commutable distance.
As part of Destination Sport Experiences, Sportive Breaks offer the biggest selection of European Gran Fondo and Cyclo-Sportive events.

From the 5 Monuments (Milan Sanremo, Lombardia, Roubaix, LBL and Flanders) to the Big Six (Marmotte, UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, GF Stelvio, Etape du Tour, Nove Colli and Mallorca 312) and many more.


Due to an exciting year of growth, we are now looking for a
Marketing Executive - Cycling to work alongside our existing marketing team, implementing campaigns and supporting with a variety of marketing activities, specifically for our Sportive Breaks brand.


This is a varied, hands on role and on a typical day you will:

  • Work with our marketing & product team and external agencies to develop effective communication with our customers
  • Gather and create content for our various channels
  • Manage & maintain our social media channels. Reporting on campaign success and helping to improve our following and engagement
  • Have responsibility for all paid advertising via an agency
  • Prepare Race Expo, outdoor and nondigital marketing activity
  • Be involved in partnership activity and sponsorships from a marketing perspective
  • Ensure our website is optimised from a marketing perspective
  • Work with the Product team regarding content for the website, ensuring it is communicated across our channels
  • Liasise closely with our PR agency
  • Work alongside the Head of Marketing with vertical channels and publishing houses
  • Be a creative marketer who can support our team and deliver successful marketing campaigns
  • Possess the desire to develop your skills and analyse and report return on investment for specific campaigns and activity
  • Have the ability to work to deadlines and meet your teams' and internal stakeholder expectations
  • Work in alignment with the marketing team and business objectives to support all areas of growth strategy
  • Possess content/copywriting skills across a number of channels including print, online and social media with the ability to edit and proofread
  • Have a genuine interest and understanding of the latest technology and techniques within marketing communications
  • Have a keen interest in cycling
