This major investment bank seeks a confident Compliance Advisory, Operational Risk or Operations professional to move into the Front Office and join the first line of defence.

There is much to do and no two days are the same, so if you're looking for a rolewith lots of variety, this could be the one for you

The Supervision & Controls team is set up to provide real-time advice and guidance to the Front Office on all matters that impact the business from a risk and regulatory standpoint.

From assessing the impacts related to the introduction of new products,producing and analysing Management Information (MI), capturing risk data, providing feedback on risk issues to Heads of Department, engaging in Change programs and ensuring departmental input across other functions (Ops, Legal, IT, Compliance, Risk etc).

If you want to play a more hands-on role in advising the Front Office, this role will keep you exceptionally busy and challenged as well as affording the opportunity to develop valuable relationships with the Front Office team.

A minimum of 3 years Compliance, Ops Risk or Operations experience and have handson experience working with the Front Office
Strong Academic background
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presenting to midsized groups)
Experience in leading training sessions to groups would be an advantage
The ability to prioritise work logically and deliver against tight deadlines is essential
