RESPONSIBILITIES
Document Controller Responsibilities
Ensures work is carried out in accordance with client and/or company standards and specification.
Ensure the quality of all work carried out under their justification
Prioritise their own workload
Maintains clear file structures and manages electronic files, ensuring an audible, electronic trail for all work undertaken
Populates client EDMS
Assists in the maintenance of controlled and uncontrolled documentation and data
Receives and distributes documents and amendments to documentation held by clients and DCC controlled copies
Ensures transmittal and receipt of draft documents in line with company procedures
Maintains documentation records, databases and filing systems to provide accurate records of document status
Performs all necessary administration to ensure that the progress of items is tracked at all times and that an audit trail is maintained
Conducts scanning and naming client documentation as per requirements set by project sponsor saving into the identified repository
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
UK Driving Licence
Experience of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional packages
Experience of Document Control processes and systems would be beneficial
