We are recruiting for aCAMHS Eating Disorder Family Therapist who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care.
We are looking for an experienced family therapist to work within the
CAMHS team who has experience of working with children and young people with eating disorders.
The post holder will provide evidenced based systemic family therapy to a range of CYP, under
CAMHS with varying degrees of need.
You will provide active and effective supervision to junior family therapy staff members.
To provide high quality systemic family therapy treatment, in conjunction with other professionals and work in partnership with other agencies to provide seamless, flexible services, which meets the systemic family focused service user and carer needs.
Across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight healthcare services are evolving and transforming to meet the continuing care needs of our population.
Now is a very exciting time to join Isle of Wight NHS Trust as we enter this period of change.
This year Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust have strengthened our partnership and formed a group giving us an opportunity to work together to be innovative in improving patient care and outcomes as well as improving the experience and opportunities for our people across the two organisations.
We have also been working with other local NHS Trusts across our region to create a new organisation, bringing together all community, mental health and learning disability services from across Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
Subject to approvals, the aim is for the new Trust - Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust - to be formed by April 2024.
People employed in our community, mental health and learning disability services by the Isle of Wight NHS Trust on 31 March 2024, will transfer to the new organisation under Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) on 1 May 2024.
Post graduate qualification in appropriate mental health/social care profession.
Masters level qualification in Systemic Psychotherapy
The willingness to be flexible and work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure the best therapeutic approach to children and families
Experience as a family therapist working within children's services.
Knowledge of Safeguarding procedures
CAMHS
