Description

This global distribution company are looking to recruit a Quality Inspector to ensure that products inspected in accordance with operating standards and to ensure fulfilment to customer and third-party requirements of all quality related activities.

Duties:

Perform dimensional, visual and documentation inspection on incoming parts and outgoing products
Identify parts for ad hoc sample inspection
Create and maintain product inspection checklists
Document Inspection results and outcomes through completing detailed reports
Create, Manage and Review FAIRs in accordance with AS910
Support and assist the calibration process by aiding external and internal calibration
Assist with the investigation of Root Cause failure mode investigation of product returns
Create and action nonConformities and supplier returns
Maintain, review and action shelflife inventory

To be considered for this exciting Quality Inspector role, you will need the following experience:

Ability to read and understand technical data including drawings and specifications, etc.
Working in the aerospace industry is beneficial
Knowledge of AS9102 and ISO would be advantageous
Using measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, etc. is beneficial
Ideally Technical engineering apprenticeship served
Good eye to detail, critical thinker, and the ability to lead and manage teams and projects
