School Deputy Office Manager


Job Type:
Permanent Role (Term Time, 48.4 weeks per year)


Salary:
£25'450 to £30'049 per annum (pro rota)

Hours: 37 hours per week, 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Exciting Opportunity

Your daily duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Providing efficient and effective administration support
  • Supporting with the management of data to include pupil information, staff absence data
  • Managing the schools HR information system, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
  • Production of staff information monitoring reports
  • Administration in relation to appointments, variations and terminations, liaising with the Trust HR Team
  • Organisation of recruitment interviews
  • Maintaining staff records ensuring that the school holds uptodate accurate information in relation to all staff
  • Compilation of documents for school meetings
  • Producing and managing letters and reports
  • Arranging meetings and refreshments
  • Provision of secretarial / administrative support the Senior Leadership Team
  • Dealing with enquiries from pupils and families.
  • Organising and supporting the administration of parents' evenings and school events
  • Overseeing and ensuring supply cover when needed for staff, such as teachers, support staff and other nonteaching staff
  • Liaising with families and outside agencies
  • Deputising for the Office Manager

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Previous Office Management experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • SIMS experience (advantageous)
  • Previous experience of working within a School Office (desirable)
  • Great organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Strong computer and administrative skills
