Reputable sub-contract machining company are looking for
CNC Setter (Sliding Head) to join their long-established team in Redditch. Offered as a Temporary to Permanent contract, with competitive pay rate based on experience and immediate start available.

Your role as
CNC Setter (Sliding Head) will be to set and operate Fanuc and TB Deco controlled machines while maintaining the section with offsets and tooling.

Previous CNC experience is essential to fulfil the position of
CNC Setter (Sliding Head). Within this role you will be offered overtime, free car parking and company pension.

Duties and responsibilities of
CNC Setter (Sliding Head)

Set and Operate CNC sliding head machines such as Tornos Deco with a TB deco control, Star fanuc control, Tornos with fanuc control, Hanwha with fanuc control
Focus on production of highquality components
Maintain the section with offsets and tooling
Leaving work area/machines in good condition at the end of shift in terms of material tooling
Ability to leave machines running safely to support next operator starting at 6:45am
Occasional simple repeat change overs
Using measuring gauges
To produce components within the agreed standard time
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Working to tight tolerances and in process measurements
High precision tolerance works as well as volume
Quality control, working to customer specification
Previous experience of
CNC Sliding Head Setting:
Attention to detail
Be an effective communicator
Team player, with pride in one's work and a desire for success
Be adaptable and willing to go the extra mile to meet tight deadlines

Location:
Redditch, Worcestershire

Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday 8 pm - 6 am (Overtime available Friday)

Salary:
£ £14.00 per hour
plus 20% Night Shift Allowance (dependent upon experience)
