    Hamilton Fraser, a valued part of Brown & Brown (Europe), are looking for an Account Handler to join their professional & successful Property Insurance team.


    We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building effective working relationships as you'll be managing and enhancing existing and new client relationships.

    You'll ensure that premium income contributes to the achievement of your own and the department financial targets, so a results driven mindset is a must.


    As you could be visiting clients and insurers, you'll need to have excellent inter-personal and telephone skills as well as the ability to communicate clearly and precisely with others.


    You'll need to be highly organised as you'll be maintaining in-house diary systems and ensuring that your knowledge of industry news and developments are current.

    Duties will include:

    Processing mid-term adjustments
    Pre-renewal visits and securing the best terms available
    Providing quotations and securing new business
    Cross-selling other Hamilton Fraser insurance products
    Actively developing cross selling opportunities within the various departments of Hamilton Fraser
    Ensuring all documentation issued and actions taken fall within the agreed service standards and FCA regulations
    Assisting with the preparation of external events and exhibitions and attending these where required
    Acting in accordance with the agreed procedures and protocols under Delegated Authority SchemesIdeal experience would include:

    Experience in a Property Insurance environment, or having general Commercial Insurance experience
    A focused approach to client relationships whilst ensuring excellent customer service and advice is always provided
    Cert CII or significant progress towards the qualification would be advantageous
    A good level of both written and spoken English is required, as well as excellent numerical skills
    Good organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-moving environment
    Sound IT skills, particularly MS Office products, with the ability to learn new systems and procedures
