When a child is diagnosed with cancer, fear takes over the life of the child and their family. Fear of treatment, fear of family separation, financial struggles, and feelings of isolation.

About the Role:
Our work is both fulfilling and demanding, requiring resourcefulness and resilience.
We are seeking a qualified social work professional with managerial experience to oversee the operational management and growth of our social work services.
Your responsibilities will involve ensuring effective services for children and young people with cancer and their families through staff supervision across different locations.
You will have:
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with a base in Newcastle upon Tyne, splitting between home, the Freeman Hospital, and the RVI Hospital. Remote work is possible within the hybrid model, with the hospital base being the primary location.
An Enhanced level Criminal Record Check is required for this role.
