    Following a period of growth and expansion, smartDCS IT are looking for DV cleared Software Developers who are not only capable of working within our customer embedded teams, but who also have a desire to challenge themselves, learning new technologies and skills and progress within the company as opportunities arise.

    This role is hybrid based with travel to customer site in Cheltenham two or three days a week.

    On top of your base salary, you will also be given an onsite bonus as well as a bonus for holding the clearance.

    A part of this role will include publishing improvements back to opensource projects so a familiarity with working on opensource projects would be beneficial.

    You will be required to have deep technical knowledge of at least one core programming language with the ability to comfortably work with others.

    Knowledge of a wide range of DevOps related technologies and a good working understanding of testing and architecture practices will also be beneficial.

    ElasticSearch, Kibana, Apache Nifi, Java, Golang, Docker, Python, Ansible
    You will also be able to work within an agile team to defined deadlines.

    60k-70k per annum depending on experience
