- Design and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures that are robust and in line with industry best practices and legal requirements that fit or can be tailored to our group entities
- Mentor other cybersecurity and technology professionals to enhance their skills and effectiveness
- Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing, and risk assessments that will keep our adversaries at bay
- Work with the Cyber IR team to create and execute incident response plans that will ensure we emerge on top in the event of an attack
- Keep ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, and recommend security controls to mitigate risks
- Work with other IT teams to ensure that our cybersecurity is strong and integrated into all aspects of our IT infrastructure
- Work with third-party vendors to forge alliances that will strengthen our defences across the group
- Drive forward cybersecurity standards that meet or exceed industry best practices and legal requirements
- Collaborate with the IT teams and business stakeholders to identify areas where cybersecurity improvements can be made, and champion initiatives that align with our strategic goals and legal obligations
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the Cybersecurity/Technology field
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft365 security tools such as Intune, Azure AAD, Conditional access, and others.
- Excellent knowledge of leading security tools for Windows, Macs, and email
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity
- Ability to inspire, and mentor other professionals in the ways of security
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks
- Proven experience in creating and implementing cybersecurity standards and delivering change to existing technical controls
