As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be instrumental in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene


Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of meals under the supervision of the Chef/Cook.
Ensure that food is served at the correct temperature and in appropriate portion sizes.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Assist with stock rotation and storage to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a safe and organized working environment.
Provide assistance with any other kitchen duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required.
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
