    We're expanding our team in Tiverton, Devon and in search of an experienced PHP Developer with a minimum of 2 years to play a vital role in our team's growth and success.

    Your key responsibilities will include:


    Collaborating with a team of skilled developers, designers, layout designers, and managers to build web solutions for various industries, including food, corporate, and e-commerce.

    Developing new features from scratch using PHP 8+ (MVC, OOP) and JavaScript (jQuery). PHP experience is essential for this role.
    Assisting in the refinement and technical support of existing projects, enhancing functionality, and stretching layout designs.
    Contributing to the adoption of Laravel in upcoming releases while working with legacy systems developed in PHP directly.
    Applying your problem-solving attitude to overcome technical challenges and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software products.


    Key Requirements:


    To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:Good knowledge of PHP 8+ with expertise in MVC (Model-View-Controller) and OOP (Object-Oriented Programming).Strong understanding of JavaScript, particularly jQuery.

    Familiarity with the PHP framework LaravelProficiency in MySQL and the ability to write queries by hand.
    Knowledge of HTML/CSS to create responsive and visually appealing web applications.
    Experience with JS frameworks such as Vue or Angular.
    Strong GIT proficiency to effectively manage version control.
    A keen problem-solving attitude and a passion for continuous learning.
    Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
