Due to expansion, we are seeking a Trainee Production Assembly Operative to perform a combination of duties for the assembly of electronic components onto printed circuit boards according to specification.

The Trainee will learn numerus skills such as:

Using various tools and equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble a variety of electronic products
Soldering to IPC-A610 and J-STD001 standards with inhouse and external training provided.
Reading worksheets, wiring diagrams or following a sample board to determine assembly duties
Identifying components such as transistors, resistors, relays, capacitors and integrated circuits
Learning how to use the machines in the factory for soldering and testing

Qualifications & Experience:

J-STD001 Certification is advantageous
Previous manufacturing experience is desirable
Adaptable and flexible as no 2 days will be the same as duties will vary depending on production demands.
Able to concentrate for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks.
