We are searching for a Fertility Laboratory Assistant to join our team, where we perform over 600 fresh cycles of IVF/ ICSI each year and over 250 frozen cycles, plus a full range of ART services.
Who are you?
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills to support the Fertility Laboratory staff with the day-to-day laboratory duties and administration.
The Fertility Laboratory Assistant will play a key role in the success of our Centre, with a range of responsibilities including patient communication, and administrative duties working within a multidisciplinary team.

It could provide excellent experience for those wishing to start their career in the area of fertility or progress on to the Scientist Training Programme in the future.
A levels/ BSc with some science experience is desirable but not essential.Main Purpose
- Deal with incoming telephone enquiries and booking appointments where appropriate, including taking payment from patients.
- Perform all administrative tasks relating to the laboratory department.
- Enter information relating to fertility cycles and diagnostic tests onto all laboratory computer systems.
- Ensure the RI witnessing process for consumables is completed correctly. Contribute to the improvement of services.
- Monitor and maintain the laboratory equipment and environment.
- Maintain quality in own work and encourage others to do the same.
- Support equality and value diversity, identifying when own or others' behaviour undermines equality and diversity.
- Input, store and provide data and information.
