Work with the Operational Risk Manager to ensure the business has an effective operational risk management system and framework, that operational risks can be identified, monitored and managed at all times.

Financial Services firm based in South West London.

Description

Work with the Operational Risk Manager to ensure the business has an effective operational risk management system and framework, that operational risks can be identified, monitored and managed at all times.
Support in maintaining and updating core documents for operational risk management.
Assist with the production of periodic Operational Risk and Resilience reports to Executive and Board Committees.
Present MI in a simple and effective way on a month to month basis.

Profile

At least 1 years' experience of an operational risk management
Alternativley, can be a graduate with a placement year from a Financial Services firm OR equivalent
Good understanding of the risk lifecycle and risk methodologies
Experience of risk controls
Analytical skills
Inquisitive
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
An ability to learn quickly and take the initiative
Ability to communicate clear and effectively at all level
Flexible approach
Excellent Excel skills

Job Offer
£30,000+ salary dependant on experience

Strong progression within the Ops Risk team

Mentorship and 1 to 1 contact with the Ops Risk Manager on a day to day basis
