Group Finance Director - Leeds, United Kingdom - Identify Talent

Description

• Due to the retirement of the current incumbent later this year they are looking to find a replacement to head the finance function.
• The role will be a mix between operational and strategic finance.
• This will suit someone who isn't looking for a corporate business environment and is at home in a role that will require diversity.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment will be key as will the ability to understand cash protection.
• Having had IT reporting to you in a previous role would also be beneficial.

Main Duties:

• Day to day management of the Accounting and IT departments.
• Also oversee Credit Control, Payroll and HR.
• Production of monthly Management Accounts.
• Making sure the business is complying with all legal and financial requirements.
• Financial and strategic business planning
• Maintaining and developing relationships with key external stakeholders

Person Specification:

• Experience within the manufacturing sector directly or indirectly preferred.
• A desire to develop your career beyond finance.
• You will need to be a strong character to fill the shoes of the retiring FD, so good people management and mentoring experience will be important.
• Must be able to demonstrate stability throughout your career.
