    We are seeking a driven and strategic-minded individual to join us as Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A key member of the founding team, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, including fundraising, financial planning, accounting, and budget management. Depending on your preference and agreement with the other 2 founders, you will have the option to choose between earning a 5% equity share in the business or a percentage of funding raised within a timeframe set by the founders.

    Responsibilities

    • Fundraising: Lead efforts to raise capital from investors, including venture capital firms, angel investors, and other funding sources. Develop and execute fundraising strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
    • Financial Strategy: Collaborate with the CEO and other members of the executive team to develop and execute the company's financial strategy. Provide strategic financial guidance to support long-term growth and sustainability.
    • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making. Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
    • Budget Management: Manage the company's budgeting process, including annual budget preparation and ongoing monitoring of budget vs. actual performance. Implement cost control measures to optimize financial efficiency.
    • Accounting & Reporting: Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks that may impact the company's performance or reputation. Implement appropriate internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets.
    • Investor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, providing regular updates on financial performance, milestones, and strategic initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and other stakeholders.
    • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop team members to support their professional growth and development.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or similar leadership role in a startup or high-growth company.
    • Demonstrated track record of successfully raising capital from investors, including venture capital firms and angel investors.
    • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop and execute financial strategies to support business objectives.
    • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
    • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with investors and stakeholders.
    • Experience with investors or crowdfinding would a be huge advantage
