    Roles: Project Manager (Engineering projects background) – Bristol / Hybrid

    Market: Engineering

    Location: Bristol

    Salary: £50,000 - £63,000 (depending on experience), Bonus, Life, Pension, Medical Cover, 25 days leave, benefits

    ARCA is partnered with a rapidly scaling, high tech business seeking to expand its team.

    We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager with experience of delivering engineering projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high technology business.

    The Project Manager will have the opportunity to be an influencing figure within the company, with exposure to every project. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful planning and delivery of projects on time; not only meeting safety and compliance requirements, but also the technical and budgetary specification. Key duties include but will not be limited to:

    • Working within a team of technical experts who specialise in design, build and commissioning
    • You will be responsible for assuring that all projects deliver safe equipment that satisfies all of the requirements.
    • Managing multiple projects utilising the appropriate systems, processes and resources to facilitate optimal delivery.
    • Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks and issues, and agreeing accountabilities and responsibilities with the wider project team
    • Coordinate and communicate project scope, identify dependencies and understand the critical path to secure timely project delivery

    Essential Skills & experience:

    • Experience of working on engineering projects
    • A degree qualification (engineering discipline preferable) or equivalent experience.
    • In depth understanding of Project Management fundamentals
    • Desirable: Understanding or experience of an engineering discipline such as, mechanical design, control system design or systems engineering
    • A logical approach to approaching tasks and solving problems
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to work in a high pressure dynamic environment.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Collaboration and Engagement skills
