    HR Advisor


    Position Summary:

    As HR Advisor you will play a pivotal role in fostering supportive relationships with a number of clients operating in the education sector.

    By providing a comprehensive generalist HR resource you will become the main, and in some cases, the sole HR contact for these clients.


    Daily Responsibilities will include:
    Providing advice to management on employee relations and management issues; advising and supporting managers with grievances, disciplinary actions, absence management and performance management cases on site
    Composing and/or reviewing all relevant notes and letters and forwarding as needed
    To coach managers with HR procedures and challenge any non-compliance
    Actively monitor and work with relevant senior leaders, to manage all employee cases - instigating formal proceedings where necessary, supporting and at times composing all relevant letters and associated emails as needed
    Building and maintaining strong productive relationships with site managers and attend appropriate onsite meetings as required
    Update and advise on employment legislation and policy
    Assist with the design and delivery in particular HR areas, such as performance reviews and management, discipline and grievance management
    Provide full support to the site management team across all company HR policies & processes to enable the delivery of the entire employee lifecycle
    To take a proactive approach to supporting the management team in people management issues and general HR support and advice
    To provide an email and telephone support service to clients on a as required basis

    We're looking for the following skills/experience:

    Previous HR experience gained at Advisor level
    CIPD qualified (level 3+)
    Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation
    Comprehensive understanding of the entire employee lifecycle
    Able to support change, consult and build relationships at all levels
    Experience in a similar role ideally gained within an educational setting or similar
    Ability to adapt and tailor support for numerous clients


    occasional travel within the East London area will be needed. This could be 1-2 days per week, expenses will be paid
