R&D Team Lead Salary & Benefits: 70k - 80k per year + Excellent Benefits Location & Hybrid: Southampton, 4 days per week onsite (with flexible working on an ad hoc basis).

As the R&D Team Lead, you'll take charge of electronics and software design for our state-of-the-art laser products. Manage and coordinate the electronics team within the client's R&D department, driving innovation and collaboration.


Responsibilities:
Lead electronics development for laser products throughout their lifecycle.
Provide leadership and line management for the electronics engineers.
Direct product development activities ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with the Systems Integration Group to enhance global practices.
Design, develop, and test electronic work packages.
Drive continuous improvement processes.


Ideal Candidate Experience:
Proficient in leading electronics product development.
Skilled mentor with proven experience in embedded systems applications.
Expertise in complex electronic development across the product development lifecycle.


Desirable:
Previous experience with laser systems.
