    Are you looking for a job with satisfaction you'd struggle to find anywhere? You're in luck as our #NLCS are on the look out for new female* colleague to join us as a Support Practitioners on a part-time (16 hours per week) basis.

    The Role

    As a member of our team your role will involve supporting a group of young people between the ages of 10 and 26. You will provide support to the young people to attend college, participate in vocational activities during the week and provide support for alternative to respite weekends. Some of the young people also attend music classes, swimming, the gym and community based groups. If you are outgoing and enjoy getting the most from life this could be the perfect role for you.

    This role specifically delivers support to 3 young ladies over various days during the week, a young man on Mondays and a young boy every second weekend.

    About You

    For this opportunity, looking for you to have a full, manual driving license. Don't have experience in care, don't worry, we recruit on values and transferable skills. We'll pay you for your training and even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too.

    For this role we will need you to hold a full UK, manual driving licence with a least one years' experience on the roads as the people we support have their own mobility cars.

  • Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity
  • Confidence in the use of computers
  • Shift Patterns

    As we're dedicated to providing support tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns for this team currently fall within the hours of - , but are subject to change if more suitable activities arise. Weekend working is involved on a rotational basis. You may also be asked to support different individuals within our community support service on occasion, however, shadow shifts would be provided beforehand.

    Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
