    We are currently looking to recruit an Operations Administrator to provide support and assistance in regards to daily administrative task within our busy Operations department, based at our HQ, Altens, Aberdeen.

    This role is a fixed term maternity position working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Candidates main duties would include:

    Main Tasks include:

    • Work closely with Operations Department for all travel relating to vehicle hire, air travel or accommodation in accordance with travel policy.
    • Co-ordinate applications for visas and passports as required.
    • Coordinate the bookings process for all Corporate and offshore travel in conjunction with Travel agent to obtain best route and value for each request is taken.
    • Liaise with personnel to ensure that they are all fully informed of all information relating to confirming check in details, booking hotels and any other travel arrangements as required.
    • Be aware of travel warnings and developments in order to advise all travellers that will be affected.
    • Issuing offshore training certification to client Aviation Team as and when required.
    • Ensuring all personnel movements are recorded correctly for all assigned contracts and liaising with Project Teams to ensure accuracy.
    • Processing of job initiation requests for the preparation of electronic job files.
    • Assist with general administrative duties relating documents, reports etc. including photocopying and scanning documents where necessary.
    • Raise any required purchase orders on WAP system.
    • Assist with basic data input on databases
    • Control and issue/retrieval of TLD's (film badges) including subsequent processing and review of recorded readings to detect any action or investigation required
    • Logging of quotes, tenders, bids, preparation and processing of quotation documentation as required by Operations Departments to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Liaise with HR and Training & Competency Departments to ensure that all offshore personnel have the required documentation and vaccinations to travel to offshore locations

    Applicants to this role should require

    • Previous personnel logistics experience and working with offshore personnel preferred.
    • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Team player.
    • Strong planning and organising skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a busy, operational environment

    Candidates should live within commuting distance of CAN's Aberdeen Office and hold a full UK Driving Licence.
