    Description

    We are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to take responsibility for classes in the short-term absence of their usual teacher, delivering lessons as directed by that teacher to maintain consistency for our students. This individual will use information from seating plans to ensure the lesson is accessible to all students and follow the routines practiced by all staff to continue that familiar setting in the classroom. In this individual we would like to see a someone who is proactive, enthusiastic and above all enjoys working with young people. This could suit a newly qualified teacher who wishes to gain some experience before securing a permanent role.

    We are looking for someone who will engage our students through their enthusiasm and passion for their subject; someone who will inspire them beyond the curriculum and expand their cultural knowledge so that they can stand 'shoulder to shoulder' with any other young person, from any other background. We want someone who enjoys working with young people, who believes it is a privilege to be a part of their journey into adulthood, and who will show them unconditional positive regard.
