Please note this vacancy is Fixed-term for 12 months


You will be assisting in the delivery of all administration work to enable GPHG to carry out a comprehensive compliance service fully meeting statutory obligations.

You will be ensuring all records pertaining to legislative responsibilities for building safety services are up to date, changed where necessary and are accurate and timely.

You will be working closely with other Compliance Managers within the department ensuring an effective service meets the needs of Great Places and its customers.

You will also assist in completing follow up work that may relate to Legal, Health and Safety and regulative responsibilities for GPHG.


What you'll be doing:


  • Assisting the Head of Compliance, Managers and Officers by producing regular reports to help with managing all compliance work to meet regulatory requirements and ensuring customer safety at all times.
  • Liaising with other members from the technical teams to aid scheduling of work.
  • Be available to help as required and assist with administration tasks for peers across the department. Providing cover for telephone call handling and assisting team colleagues by sharing workload as appropriate.
  • To carry out other duties commensurate with the nature of this post & Carry out other duties commensurate with the nature of the post of Compliance Administrator as directed by the Head of Compliance
  • General assistance with administration within all of the Repairs and Asset Management services work.
  • Create and maintain effective filing systems to house hard and soft copies of data.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of programme work register including contract and failure information. Follow up on outstanding paperwork within the department dealing with queries for a prompt resolution.

What you'll need

  • Qualified to minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and maths
  • Educated to A level standard or equivalent

  • A relevant qualification in administration or working towards one
  • VRQ/NVQ level in compliance area

  • IOSH Managing Safety
  • Experience of working within a compliance framework;
  • Confident skills in the full range of Microsoft Office with excellent skills in excel & it is desirable to have experience of working with housingspecific IT systems
  • Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure & the ability to work to deadlines.
