Credit Control / Permanent / Up to £24,000 / Hybrid Working / Fleckney

This role will be responsible for over 1,000 live customers and you will be comfortable to take the reigns and ensure everything is done to prevent this debt in the future and to ensure long lasting relationships with your customers.

Responsibilities will include:

Chasing of late payments and monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO
Following Credit Policy and Dunning Process, including working with Credit Insurance requirements
Timely posting and reconciliation of all customer payments
Evaluate credit limits based on company standards and requirements
Produce accurate and timely monthly debtor reporting
Raising queries through the appropriate channel, ensuring queries are resolved in a timely manner by liaising with relevant stakeholders
Processing all entries required within the AR Ledger including managing invoice runs
Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel
Help to successfully embed a continuous improvement culture by suggesting and implementing ideas to streamline and improve Credit and AR processes
Adhoc administration duties as requested

Knowledge and Experience

Ideally_
A minimum of 2 years' experience in credit control (preferably in a standalone role).
Experience of the full credit control cycle up to and including instructing solicitors to aid in debt recovery.
IT literate with solid experience of Microsoft packages

- specifically Excel (vlookups & pivot tables a must).
