- Issue general arrangement drawings for the client's approval
- Designing and developing product assemblies ready for manufacture
- Create drawing/manufacturing packs and issue them to the factory
- Re-engineering existing products
- Overseeing the entire manufacturing process of each job to ensure project timescales are met
- Communicate with clients and provide updates as required
- Work as part of a team to produce the best cost-effective design solutions and help automate standard designs
- Experience in using design software such as Solidworks or Inventor
- 3 years or more experience in industry
- Experience with sheet metal/moving equipment would be an advantage but can consider any mechanical engineering discipline.
- £30,000 - £35,000 depending on the experience
- 24 days holiday + bank holidays
- Company pension
- 39/week Monday – Thursday 8 am-5 pm and Friday 8 am – 1:30 pm or Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 5 pm and Friday 8:30 am – 4 pm
