    Job Type: Full Time

    Location: Croydon

    Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 p.a

    We are looking for a people-focused individual with great interpersonal skills and the ability to use data to aid decision making to join our growing team.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance professional with in depth knowledge of statutory compliance in the social housing sector join our Property Services team working on all aspects of Statutory Compliance.

    It is an interesting and varied role for an engaging, solution-focused person, with a passion for providing compliance services across portfolio and help keep our residents safe in their homes, and someone who wants to add value within an organisation. You will bring your knowledge and experience by providing advice and support to various stake holders, staff and tenants by keeping compliance and maintenance records up to date and be able to demonstrate statutory compliance is being maintained.

    You will be a resilient, professionally curious person, who is enthusiastic about a career in the Social Housing Compliance arena. You will work closely with the Head Property Services to support with continuous improvement across all service areas, while helping to support and achieve our organisational objectives.

    Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

    • You will be responsible for the statutory compliance, health and safety risk management of our homes ensuring 100% compliance with all health and safety legislation and best practice.
    • To contract manage the compliance contractors and all other contracts associated with the delivery of these services delivering excellent customer service and value for money.
    • Ensuring that robust monitoring, reporting, and forecasting systems are in place and data is kept updated.

    Experience Required:

    • What you'll need Experience of working within Asset Management or Compliance service, especially within a social housing environment.
    • Understanding of Compliance areas and requirements on housing organisations.
    • Proven experience of performance-based management through KPI's in a customer focused environment.
    • Experience of managing and analysing large data sets, and ensuring taking responsibility for quality compliance data.
    • Essential Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with tenants and external agencies
    • Numerate, with good analytical skills.
    • Able to analyse statistical and other information, and to produce management reports.
    • Able to write clear and accurate reports which highlight areas for attention and which support compliance.
    • Able to plan and prioritise to ensure the effective use of own time and that of other staff, and the delivery of work plans to timetable, often under pressure
